The Arabian Horse
Behind the Arabian horses' mysterious and captivating eyes, lies the secret of the history and origins of all modern day horses, which dates back to 3000 BC. For thousands of years, the Arabian horse has endured intense heat and harshness of the dry, torrid, and seemingly endless deserts in the Middle East.
It is has been said that the Arabian is the King of horses, with his elegant beauty, gracefulness, and dignified spirit. With his unique gently curved, dished face, flaring nostrils, proudly arched neck, expressive eyes, and silky mane which blows gently in the wind, the Arabian horse truly is a vision of unspoiled beauty.
Beverly, owner of Jafar, the stallion pictured, said, “Blackwind Jafar is Grand Champion Halter, Most Classic, Liberty and Reserve Champion Western Pleasure, with National Champion bloodlines. He has superb disposition you rarely find in a stallion, and is a Sweepstakes Nominated Homozygous Black Multi Champion stallion consistently producing halter and performance Champions.”
Thanks to Beverly and Fred Cargile (Cargile Arabians) for allowing me to use a picture of their beautiful Arabian stallion Jafar for my news story.
