Did The Killer Whale Live Up To It's Name?

Judy Ramsook
If a stray or your neighbour´s dog is wandering around your neighbourhood and fatally attacks someone, said dog is removed or put to sleep so it would not harm or kill another human being.

But what happens when a much bigger creature hundreds of people pay to see perform tricks is accused of taking a life? A creature known as a Killer Whale and whose place of residence is a luxurious Theme Park known as Sea World.

Is the Killer Whale removed even though this is not the first time it has been accused of being responsible for the death of a human? Actually, this Killer Whale at the Sea World in Orlando, Florida has been responsible for the deaths of three other trainers prior to this latest incident.

And is there a sort of discrimination going on here as far as how worthy a creature is? Like maybe it´s all right to have the dog removed because hundreds of people don´t pay to see it perform any trick anywhere.

But they do so for the Killer Whale? Because it attracts many Theme Park visitors to that particular show?

I always believed that human life is important no matter what creature is responsible for removing him/her from this world.

And it´s a sad day when you have to place a monetary value on the creature that is responsible for this latest incident and keep said creature or the Killer Whale at the Theme Park.

So far, in all, this Killer Whale is responsible for taking the lives of four people, why keep giving it so many chances?

To see how many more humans it might kill in the future?
